Just a little holiday spend....

So I have just come back from my holiday, which was lovely to get away from work etc but the weather could have been just a little nicer, no complaining though! But while I was down in Woolacombe I popped into Boots, as I wasn't planning on spending too much, but thought I'd just have a little look, I ended up leaving with 3 Boots 17 nail polishes 3 for 2 on all 17 products and the new Rimmel Lash Accelerator mascara.

So these are the colours I chose:

17 High Gloss Nail Polish in Wicked
Love the colour very bold, very small purple glitter particles. Beautiful colour very ready for Winter. I absolutely love the name WICKED!!

17 High Gloss Nail Polish in Sphinx
Gorgeous shimmer gold, definitely going to find my self some glittery nail polish in silver and gold, so I can do Lorraine Stanick style nails :) love them.

17 Lasting Fix Nail Polish in Toasted Almond
Pretty metallic little brown with a little bit of gold in there too, looks very nice on the nails, subtle bit of colour if you not looking for anything to bold!

So my last spend was on the new Rimmel Lash Accelerator mascara, which is currently on offer in Boots for £6.99 with a saving £2 so thought why not lets give this one a try. This mascara claims to have an advanced, ultra lengthening formula for beautiful long, remarkably strong lashes.

I have used this mascara once this morning and I found it was a little wet but I like the brush which applies to the lashes very smoothly and evenly, and with a couple of coats gives beautiful looking lashes. This mascara will not make your lashes look thick as it is only designed to lengthen them. So we shall see how I get on and if does improve the length of my lashes.

Thought I'd include this picture, this was taken 8 hours after I first applied the mascara. I'm thinking rather good staying power.

New Hair!

So I did it, with the inspiration of Sarahlittlecutie, I got a fringe, full on big fringe! I can not remember the time when I had I fringe like this, must of been about 5 years old. Haha!

But I found this gorgeous picture in Cosmo magazine and thought lets do it so.....

What do you think???

I love it but it does feel weird but definitely getting used to it! I have had many lovely comments already about it. Very happy, thankyou Sarah for the inspiration :)

Urban Decay Naked Palette

So how excited was I when Fleur De Force had twitted that the Urban Decay Naked palette was available in Debenham's! ON SALE!! I rushed right to the website to purchase it before it sold out which I thought it would do in a matter of hours (after ordering late Tuesday I can't seem to find it on there website anymore).  Shall just have a quite look now see if it's back on there.................It's back full price but it's there, to be honest the sale price was £24.30ish and  it's now £27.00 so not a huge deference!

I absolutely LOVE it, it has such stunning colours, I have to say I am a natural eyeshadow lover and very rarely wear bright, bold colours. So if your like me this palette is perfect for you, it has such amazing pigmented colours which only require the smallest amount to add drama and definition to your eyes. I am in love......:)

Virgin,Sin,Naked,Sidecar,Buck,Half Baked,Smog,Darkhorse,Toasted,Hustle,Creep,Gunmetal

Also thought I'd throw in a few swatches which everyone has probably has already seen on numerous YouTube videos and other blogs but thought I'd add then in as this is my first time blogging :)

Same again..

Virgin,Sin,Naked,Sidecar,Buck,Half Baked,Smog,Darkhorse,Toasted,Hustle,Creep,Gunmetal
then with the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On eye pencil
Top is Whiskey
Below is Zero

These beautiful eye shadows have such amazing staying power and the eyeliners are amazing have found they stay on all day with no touch ups, which I love as i very rarely touch up my make up thought out the day.
So I am on the hunt for all day 24 hour make up products and I am currently testing out a couple of foundations which I will probably blog about later on and reveal my overall choice.

To anyone debating on whether to buy the Naked Palette, I highly recommend it, it will be the only eye shadows I'll touch for a while I can feel that already!
:D
